Christmas Loc Wraps
LOC WRAPS FOR THE HOLIDAYS
christmas Loc Wrap Styles
There are so many fun looks that you can do with locs, but while you’re in the starter phase and allowing them to grow, wraps will be your best friend. Or, at least, that’s mine.
The holidays can be hectic, and switching up your starter locs for every event you have or want to attend can be a lot. Holiday wraps can be a life-saver and a quick fix for looking good effortlessly. Here are my four go-to wraps!
Low ponytail Wrap
My everyday go-to look is a loc ponytail wrap. Ponytail wraps are easy and super cute with minimal effort. Add a Christmas flare by adding cute cheerful earrings or changing the color of your wrap.
The slickness of your wrap can depend on how thick your locs are. Different styles and density of locs can affect the look of your ponytail. As my locs take shape at six months, I can see how my wraps lay now compared to when I was two months loc’d, which is definitely different.

Low ponytail double band Wrap
I love having my little edges out. This style makes for a super cute look with as much or little leave out as you want. The double wrap-around look makes for a pretty cover-up for a not-so-slicked ponytail.
For this style, you can wrap your locs under the extra cloth and make it into a low bun or leave it out and have a p(f)ine-apple ponytail.
Low ponytail single band Wrap
A single band wrap is just as cute as a double wrap with an easier way to get a quick cute look.

Messy Loc Bun
Learning how to do a wrap bun was one of the most complicated, but it was quickly my favourite once I got the hang of it. For the holidays, give your locs a complete break and wrap your locs in a bun.
Put your locs in a ponytail; if your locs are short, ensure they can get in a ponytail before completing this look- forcing shorter locs in a ponytail can add tension to the scalp, and we don’t want that.
