1. Second Trimester TravelChecklist: Stay Comfy & Cute
2. Second Trimester TravelChecklist: Pregnancy Support Band
When you are in the middle/end of your second trimester, a pregnancy support band is essential for your Travel Checklist. If you’re further along in your pregnancy you may find that comfort comes from wearing a support band. The pregnancy support band will help you in getting around without feeling uncomfortable.
3. Second Trimester Travel Checklist: Staying Hydrated
Stay hydrated and drinking water, I can’t express how important drinking water is throughout your pregnancy. Especially the further you get along. No matter if its a short or long haul trip, you want to make-sure that you have at least 8 16 ounce bottles per day.
4. Second Trimester TravelChecklist: Easy to Wheel Luggage
I hate heavy luggage! I hated it before being pregnant and I definitely hated it in my third trimester.
But wheels are my favorite things on luggage. It makes it so much easier to get your things around.
Throughout your pregnancy you definitely want to be careful and make use of luggage that has wheels. Use online resources or ask your Dr to find out what the maximum weight is that you can carry.
5.Second Trimester TravelChecklist: Hearty Food
Eating healthy throughout your pregnancy is what will give you the strength and stamina to enjoy your pregnancy.
While you travel and when you reach your destination make sure you have meals that promote your pregnancy glow and your baby’s growth.
Always travel with a meal or light snacks that help keep you going on your journey. If you’re travel is a long-haul trip, make sure you enjoy a healthy meal when you arrive.
6.Second Trimester TravelChecklist: Compression Socks
Ok, compression socks may not be the sexiest thing around but they’re great for circulation. With the extra blood flow during pregnancy, it’s extremely important to stretch/move/walk around while on long flights to keep your blood. During the flight, you need to take care of your blood circulation. There is low pressure in the cabin. It increases strain on your arteries and veins, which is already hard if you’re pregnant. Thus, you need to wear compression socks.
