wHO in tHE HElL IS #MEG?
Let's talk about the name #MEG and why I've decided to add that name to my brand and life as a new mommy.

Let’s begin with a disclaimer. I probably could have written all of this in my about me but, that completely takes the fun out of why I am so geeked about this section of my blog.
Okay, so you’ve probably been on the home page by now and seen that everyone who subscribes becomes an official #MEGTribe Member. But who is #MEG. Meg is short for Mommy’s Essential Guide – if you didn’t catch on. And when I was choosing the name of my blog I knew I wanted it to carry one of my character traits in life and that was irony.
Side note: im all about acronyms and I wanted my tribe and blog name to sound like a hot moms blog- meg sounds like a hot mom- hence my hot mom image above.
My life is the perfect definition of irony...
Let’s face it, for a new mom to write an “Essential Guide” is nothing but COMEDY. But I sincerely wanted to create a journey of my experience of motherhood that could hopefully work to one day be an essential guide to all moms. In saying that, I wanted a name that connected the old super carefree business-minded Steph Bee and the mother, career woman turns passionate writer Steph Bee. Somehow- don’t ask me how the name that I came up with was Meg.
Call me crazy but I don’t know one, not cool Meg.
Ok, no, that’s a lie, I know one not so cool Meg, but that’s like one in a bunch of Meg’s that’s I know, anyway back to storytime.
Meg sounds like a put-together, seasoned, educated but super cool MILF what mom doesn’t want to be that?
I am not the only wanna-be Meg, we all are! So for this tribe, our tribe, I wanted us to be #MEGTribe. Now don’t get me wrong, I cling on to Steph Bee, but I officially also claim the name Meg.
So what is this section of the site all about?
Well, I’m happy you asked.
While the rest of the site consists of tips and tricks for you working momma’s, assisting you through pregnancy and postpartum, this is where you help me. I wanted a dear diary section and a part of my blog to show the vulnerable side of working to be a #MEG. I wanted to be one of the first women to experience what her diary would say back to her if they could talk after every journal entry.
This is the section that I most desire you, all fellow #MEGmembers, to talk back to me and be the village I need for growing a child.
I had a vision that this section, when my diary talks back to me, will be talking to so many more women reading. In other words, I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on my new mommy journey that can hopefully help me and fellow #MegTribeMembers.
