My 2023 Winter Essentials
In East Tennessee we are in the thick of Winter, not New York winter, but uno, southern winter. In saying that, southern winter can still get your little one sick. Here are my three winter essentials for your little one during the winter colder months and some tea on how they bring comfort.
Aquaphor
One of the most common issues faced by babies, toddlers, and children during the winter months is dry, itchy skin. With the combination of low humidity and cold temperatures, it can be tough to keep your child’s skin hydrated and healthy.Â
That’s where using a good quality baby moisturizer can make all the difference. Aquaphor moisturizer is specifically designed to be gentle on delicate skin, and can help to prevent dryness and irritation by locking in moisture and forming a protective barrier on the skin. From my experience with Alina- and my skin, using Aquaphor moisturizer regularly can help to keep the family’s skin skin soft, smooth, and healthy throughout the winter season.

OccoBaby
The Occobaby Nasal Aspirator is a tool that is designed to help clear your baby’s nasal passages when they are congested due to a cold, allergy, or other respiratory issue. It works by using gentle suction to remove mucus and other irritants from your baby’s nostrils, providing relief from nasal congestion and making it easier for them to breathe. Some benefits of using the Occobaby Nasal Aspirator include:
Quick and easy to use: The nasal aspirator is easy to operate and can be used quickly and efficiently to clear your baby’s nasal passages.
Hygienic: The nasal aspirator has a hygienic design that helps to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria. It is easy to clean and can be sterilized for reuse.
Compact and portable: The Occobaby Nasal Aspirator is small and lightweight, making it easy to take with you wherever you go. It is a convenient tool to have on hand when your baby is congested and needs some extra help to breathe.
InfaCare
InfaCare Baby Bath is a mild and gentle cleansing product specifically designed for babies’ delicate skin. It is made with nourishing ingredients that help to keep baby’s skin soft and hydrated, and it has a pH-neutral formula that is gentle on the eyes. It is free from harsh chemicals and artificial fragrances, making it a safe choice for daily use on your little one. In addition, InfaCare Baby Bath has been clinically tested and is dermatologist approved, giving you peace of mind that it is a high-quality product that you can trust.
Other Baby Essentials
Here are a few other of my faves that keeps Alina healthy and cozy throughout the Winter
Hot Ripple milk
Alina loves warm milk. Typically, in the Winter months, I'll give her three warm bottles a day (morning, afternoon & evening) , especially if were out for most of that day. For that last bottle, I'll usually add a cookie with it and what better than a Lotus Biscoff!
Essence of Peppermint
I love adding Essence of Peppermint to a good winter bath for Alina or Chris. Also, try adding a tip to your finger after bath time. Peppermint is great for adding relaxation !
